FIELDS OF USE
MARINITE is suitable for use as the first filler layer for all types of wood products, for civil or artistic use, that will be finished with both gloss and matt water-based or synthetic enamels. Excellent results can be obtained in hobby work to even surfaces when restoring rustic, country or Tyrolean style furniture. It is recommended to use MARINITE indoors as an undercoat for chalking or stained plaster.
APPLICATION
When applying to wood and masonry, dilute the first coat with a maximum of 5% synthetic thinner 081.000 and apply using a brush to make it easier for the paint to penetrate into the substrate. Sand lightly after 24 hours, then apply a second coat of MARINITE with the same dilution and using the same technique. After 24 hours, sand thoroughly until you obtain a perfectly smooth surface that can be finished with masonry paints, water-based or synthetic enamels.
