FIELDS OF USE
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor wood. An active ingredient with fungicidalbactericidal properties provides a valid protection against damage caused by organisms and prevents the wood from blackening. It is recommended to apply a first coat of coloured LidoLegno wood stain for outdoor as its transparent iron oxides reduce the absorption of solar radiation and limit damage caused by the destructive action of UV light. The coloured version is also suitable for improving the appearance of inexpensive or discoloured wood. For a softer and a more satiny finish, apply a final coat of LIDOLEGNO CERA to provide additional protection by forming a non-peeling film.
APPLICATION
On new wood: sand lightly and remove the dust. Remove any traces of resin using our thinner 090.000. On treated wood: lightly sand any previous layers of wood stain and remove the dust. If you have to treat surfaces that have previously been treated with paints or enamels, expose the bare wood to allow the product to penetrate more easily. The product is ready to use. Mix thoroughly using a paint stir stick, especially if coloured. Apply the first coat following the grain of the wood and after a few hours lightly sand the surface; remove the dust then apply a second coat. Apply to dry substrate, at a temperature above 15°C and a relative humidity of less than 70%. Any drops and tools should be cleaned immediately with water.
