FIELDS OF USE
It can be used for filling cracks and holes on traditional walls, for repairing decorative plaster or wood stuccoes, for filling and levelling coats, even if thick (built up with several layers) on walls with damaged plaster. It can also be used for filling wooden panels.
APPLICATION
Prepare the product by mixing two parts of PLASTUK powder with one part water. Mix until a soft paste is obtained that remains workable for about 2 hours.
Minor repairs: thoroughly clean the area to be treated to remove dust and dirt. Place a small amount of filler on a filler knife and fill the cracks or cavities. Remove any excess, if necessary. To obtain a perfect finish, wait for about 2 hours and then smooth thoroughly. Any minor imperfections can be levelled with fine sandpaper when the product is completely dry.
Plaster finish coat: after having thoroughly cleaned the area to be treated, place a liberal amount of filler on a plastering trowel and spread it on the wall, avoiding excessive material build-up. For thicknesses of up to 5 mm, it can be smoothed immediately. For greater thicknesses, we recommend a second layer after the first is completely dry (after 3 or 4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature). The product should be used at a temperature of between 5 and 35°C. At lower temperatures, drying is too slow and the product can be damaged by frost. At higher temperatures, too fast drying can cause micro-cracking.
